Plastic sleeper (plastic railroad ties) is a composite sleeper made of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene(UHMWPE). The superior performance of plastic railway sleeper materials. It is environmentally friendly, recyclable, and has corrosion resistance more than three times higher than wooden sleepers. Recyclable plastic sleepers have good electrical insulation, good weathering resistance, and good shock absorption and damping to noise. High crushing strength, strong chemical resistance to liquids or gases, and UV resistance.

Plastic sleepers have been successfully used in Europe for more than 20 years. They are found on transportation routes such as Milan in Italy, Zurich in Switzerland and Hanover in Germany.
